Stephen Clearheart Johnson

Clearheart is a labyrinth designer, dowser and student of geomancy and sacred geometry. He was given the Starseed™ design one night in 1998 while practicing how to draw Classic 7-Circuit labyrinths. He says, "The design was a gift of the spirits, coming seemingly out of the midnight sky. After all, I'm a reformed accountant, and they are not noted for their artistic abilities."

He lives off the grid in the Colorado foothills and his workshop is a solar and wind-powered geodesic dome. He loves to work with others to build permanent outdoor labyrinths or temporary labyrinths for events and fairs and walkable labyrinths, and has done so at churches, conferences, fairs and in wild places.

Stephen is working to create a non-profit healing retreat on his land. He hosts regular gatherings of healers, artists and musicians for the purpose of relaxation, soaking in the imitation hot springs, taking a sauna and making connections with like-minded people.
